This week’s podcast was fully inspired by all of the wonderful world music that I’m discovering because of Diplo and his podcast, Mad Decent Radio. Diplo travels around the world, mainly to poor areas like slums in Brazil, the outskirts of Puerto Rico, migrant communities in Buenos Aires, and next month he will be in Angola checking out the music scene there. He’s also been to Baltimore and New Orleans, which have made for some great mixes because he really highlights DJs that stay in the city and highlight the city’s music. Make time to check it out.
